Welcome to Sending Your Old Windshield page. If you have your old windshield and you do not want to go through the measuring process to have a new one made, and you want to send us your old windshield, then you are in the right place. Note: We do not return your old windshield! If you do not have your shield please click here to measure your console. If you do not want to send your old windshield and feel you can provide the proper measurements along with pictures of the shield, and console, please click here: Measuring a Windshield Page.

Important!

We absolutely do not give quotes without seeing the old shield. You can either send us pictures of it with basic measurements, You can send it here: updplastics647@bellsouth.net .Please do not send a shield without us approving it first! We must see it and quote you first before you send it!

If you elect to send us your old windshield, there are a few things that you will need to do:

1- If you want to cut shipping costs you may want to cut your shield into pieces so it fits into a smaller box.Below is how you do it:
Do not cut into the corner curves and do not cut with a circular saw! This changes the size of the shield! There will be an extra charge for this as it make our job a lot tougher!



 
  2- If your windshield is missing any important pieces you will need to fill those areas with cardboard and tape. (See the illustration below).
   
 

 

2- You will need to download our order form here: Order Form - Click here to print out this form or click on the PDF Logo to get the Acrobat Order Form
You must have Microsoft Word installed on your computer to download this file. Save a copy of this form to your desktop (make sure you save it as a "word 2002" compatible) Fill in the information on the form and print out one copy so you can tape it to the windshield before you pack it in the box. (See illustration below).

We need:

Name, address, phone, ship to information, make, model, year, size of boat, your email address, color number you want the new shield to be (see color samples below), and thickness of material desired such as 3/16", 1/4", 3/8". (See below)
 
 


3- Wrap your shield with bubble wrap, foam rubber, or heavy paper wraping to cushion the shield, and secure it in your own box. Please, no Popcorn! This will save you lots of money on charges for packing materials and labor cost at the shipper such as Fedex, or UPS. Please allow several days after we get your shield to have time to inspect, and piece it back together so we can contact you about price and payment options. You can ship it to:
