Welcome to the Acrylic/Plastic Replacement Windshields Main Page. This section is dedicated to the replacement of marine curved glass that has been broken with plastic ( Marine Grade Acrylic) for metal framed boat windshields.

There are two ways you can do this. You can remake the glass which is quite expensive. For more information on glass replacement click here. If your boat is not worth much, this would not be a good option unless insurance is paying for it. In most cases for a few hundred dollars, depending on the size of your shield, you can replace it with marine grade acrylic.

If you are interested in this option, please send a request by email to updplastics647@bellsouth.net and some pictures of the good and bad sides of your shield so we can give you an accurate quote. We cannot help you without pictures first!We would need your old frame, rubber seals, corner screws and samples of the broken glass if possible to do this. You would need to leave your frame on the boat as we will send you a set of instructions on how to mark your frame before you remove it from the boat, and ship it to us.

In general there are two colors we do this in. Clear, and marine green to match the original glass.
