Welcome to the Making a blackout on your windshield page. If you bought a new windshield from us or you simply want to add a blackout to the bottom of your shield for either decorative purposes or to hide dirt that gets traped between your windshield and console then below is the steps to do that.

 

 

  
Step 1- Mark where the holes should be drilled. Step 2- Drill your holes with the provided specialty drill bit. Step 3- Mark from the edge where you want the blackout with a sharpee pen.
 
Step 4- Use masking tape just above the sharpee spots so they will be covered by the spray paint. Step 5- Get a can of fast drying flat black spray paint. Spray 2 heavy coats. Let dry one hour. Step 6- Only use mineral spirits to clean any over spray.
        Step 7- You can now remount the windshield to your console!
