Welcome to the Replace and make your own rubber grommets page. Trying to find replacement rubber grommets for your boat windshield is near impossible. Even if you could find some the chances of finding the right size for your windshield will be even tougher. Here is a possible solution that any one can do on their own.

Does your old grommets look like this? Step 1- Measure the diameter of the hole and the thickness of the windshield. Step 2- Measure the the thickness of the windshield.          
 
         
             
Step 3- Buy Auto Vacuum hose that is the diameter of the hole, make sure screw will fit in the hose. Step 4- Tape one side of the windshield, insert hose and mark where to cut the hose. Step 5- Slice the hose on the mark. Should be 1/4" thick.  
             
             
        Rubber spacers can be purchased in a plumbing supply with a 3/16" hole in the center.
